McCain is on Letterman--Paul & the band launch into the Who's "I Can't Explain" while he walks out (interesting choice...) The Senator from Arizona tries to keep it light, but he just mouths Joe The Plumber stump soundbites/ talking points, continues to come off desperate & grouchy. Oh the humanity. I switch over to NBC where Biden is on Jay Leno. Biden: humble, bright, at least vice- presidential (if not outright presidential). Nolo contendere.
