And you guys are my first very special guests! thanks for coming by. I'll be sure to talk up the TM true crew to peeps in New York. Which means you better get a show here!
PS - is it REALLY necessary to make me type that letter code below when I'm slightly hungover?
Not to question one's religion or tradition or whatever, but why just pork? I think the only moral reason not to eat animals is because they are living creatures just like us humans. So if we shouldn't eat pork, we shouldn't eat chicken, fish, etc.
If there are any other reasons not to eat certain animals other than that, and the fact that they are all filled with crazy ass hormones and food dye and shit, please enlighten me.
Not at all trying to be insulting. I'm just trying to understand. From a logical perspective.
I like to believe the logic of the Kosher laws has to do with health aspects of the ancient diets. Split hooved animals (pigs), shellfish- some serious health issues with those prior to the invention of refrigeration. Outdated (for the most part) today, they are followed more for the sake of faith and tradition than anything else.
Also outdated today because all the other stuff of today's agribusiness you mentioned will kill you as well, albeit more slowly. But that also applies to chemically fertilized vegetables & probably all that GMO shit as well, not just animals.

Kosher is for suckers.
Now now!--making a commitment to an orthodox tradition is awesome for those who are orthodox--yes?!
On the other hand, there is an old Yiddish saying: you shouldn't eat pork---but if you do eat pork, make it a big fat one!
